Exclamation Please help me - MG ZT V8 (the dark monster)

Hi guys, I've got an MG 4.6 ZT v8 - the dream car, best monster ever created. Sadly, I have an issue with the ABS (braking in general). At a lower speed when I push the breaks a little bit hard (half-the-pedal) it's just weird: the ABS just starts to vibrate my pedal and the distance in order to stop it's infinite (50+ meters ). I've checked and changed everything, starting with the break pads, discs, etc. - the issue still persist . It's very dangerous at lower speeds (under 30mph ) but at higher speeds (+100mph) just works grea t. I've been to 5 mechanics with experience with Rover/ MG's and still nothing . It's like the "x-files" soundtrack always ON. I've decided to remove the ABS function (for a period of time). With 245/35/20 wheels it's not an issue, it's almost impossible to block the tyres on the round without ABS so I want to cancel this function of the car. Could somebody help me - if possible - how I can do this at home? What cable or what module to remove or it's just from the electric safety-block? Please let me know if you know any solution for this. Thanks in advance (& please ignore my bad english & typos)!

You need to get the sensors checked
Seem like you have one failing , often it's one of the rear abs rings on the wheel bearings getting damaged by rust on the handbrake backplate .

Tudor, is the ABS warning light illuminating?

ceedy has a start point and another poster has asked if the ABS light is on.
We need to know that info.
It certainly will need a new sensor but the vibration points to the hub/shaft. You might need a new shaft (B&G's did hold stock) but until it is dismantled you really won't know. The reluctor ring can be obtained (seems to be a Jaguar part) but this is not usually a cause of vibration.

Someone might be able to recommend a mechanic in your area who knows what they are doing!

Also, you probably already considered it, but be aware of what happens if you get into an accident with a car that has no ABS functionality (as a result of pulling the fuse). Should you get in an accident and someone (for whatever reason) has reason to check the fuse box, I'm pretty sure your insurance will not pay out anything and you'd be fined a bunch

I believe the OP is in Romania, so MG / T4 specialists maybe few and far between, let alone for a V8.

OP - Try the TwoSixties forum, they have have some confirming or alternate ideas over there.
