The blissful light bulb failure
I installed in the headlights, in low beams, led bulbs. Although in the announcement of the Italian house, they put free of can bus failure, I ordered some resistors from the same house of 100W 5 Ohm. The bulbs illuminate very well, but as soon as I connect the low beams, the fault appears on the panel. I checked the car bulbs and they are fine. The license plate lights are new. I unplugged the LSD and cleaned it with WD 40 as well as the plug. When connecting again and turning on the parking lights (small), the error does not appear. When connecting the short ones it reappears. I'm fed up with it. Could you locate/clear the fault with TOAF?

Yes Toaf can locate and clear codes within the LSM. Sometimes when I help others with Toaf it's not unusual to find 40 of more faults that have been stored over the years.
But if your fault is due to a CAN bus issue Toaf can clear it but the next time you use the lights the fault will come back. If the fault wasn't there before fitting your new LEDs the problem is with the LEDs. Regards |

yes, the fault comes from the leds. What resistors would be good for them?
