Default Mk 3 sat nav

I have just put a post in the spares wanted for a mk 3 disc drive as my boot sprung another leak and well and truly fried mine.

However, I am aware that BMW units can be used and there are a couple on ebay at the moment but are all mk 3 units compatible or are there different part numbers out there that would't work in my car? I have the Highline system.

All BMW Mk3 colour units are compatible avoid anything listed as business

The below may help with part numbers

Thats great, thanks. So I can basically fit any mk 3 unit straight in. Would these also have been fitted to Range Rovers and Minis as well?

Some if not all BMW units come with a BMW splash screen though, can be changed but seemingly not straight forward on a Mk 3
