Default "Gliding" Ride.

Right chapses. Quick query here. The ride in my 75 is lovely indeed - as long as it's on a smooth surface. On a smooth motorway etc... it does feel like you're gliding along.

However I see many other people say how well their 75 rides over uneven surfaces - and unfortunately I can't say the same for mine. The village I live in had plenty of roads with uneven surfaces - mainly thanks to tree roots and I find I can feel pretty much everything in the cabin.

The 75's ride is still better over these surfaces than, say, my 800 Vitesse, or my parents' Picasso - but it's nowhere near worthy of what I've read.

It's riding on standard club wheels (15"?) and tyres with lots of sidewall. No noises from the suspension over bumps or anything like that.

Ideas?

Have a very close look at your rear springs, the bottom ring breaks off and sits inside the collar..

Check your tyre pressures as well...
