If you were going to add a lot more power to a 1.8 would it be worth modding the cooling system to give a larger coolant capacity at the same time?

Chipping the 1.8 T
I am not sure about getting more power from the 1.8 turbo, i suspect it may shorten the life of the engine/transmission and will increase insurance premiums as the car will be classed as "modified" I'd be tempted to leave it as it is..........mind the 1.8 t is not far behind the V6s performance wise.

I'm not sure a company would produce an engine that is at it's limit, most units are designed to a preset limit then detuned to a safe level of reliabillity
