Thats why members like myself and others, ended up with extra sets (now used at Club Raffles) to secure orders.

I'm sure if someone started a thread/post for those wanting a set, then a list of names, surely in excess of 50 could be obtained, I for one would certainly put my name down for one.

like i say 50 names is a lot,and then the money has to be collected...

would be a shame to see numerous sets on ebay after all the work involved.

why see if they could still be made then get the 50 members that want them and surcure payment from them then order them to be made .

just a thought.i guess what ever way its down a few may drop out or

hold things up with late payment .

plus iguess it would be extra work if not a nightmare for the mods

clear silicone in the centre of the finisher, not too much and wedged them.

when dry i ran a small amount around the edge to seal them from water getting behind.

Nothing to do with the club or the mods, the club was only used as a point of communication.

If anybody wants to take this up, first thing to do is PM crofts to see if they are still available and if so, at what quantity and cost.

Very true that croft's merely used the club as a portal of communication. We were more than happy to help maintain lists etc for the duration.

What happened last time, was that there was a list and loads of people said they wanted a set.

So Crofts agreed to get a batch made, and asked for payment. The payments didn't come to match the requests, so it looked like it was going to fall over. A few people offered to buy a set and pay there and then even though they hadn't initially agreed to buy, so the batch went ahead anyway.

I think it's this disparity between those who say they want a set, and those who actually stump up that causes the headache. After all the hassle last time, I could see why there wouldn't be another.

Maybe if someone else were to offer to coordinate, take paymenst and so on, with the assosciated hassle / risk, then maybe it would fly. I would buy another set, as I bought a new car to go with the set I never intended to buy, and I like them!
