Hi Col, you live in beautiful part of the UK with all of those beaches and historical sites. My dream is for us to explore the Northumbrian coastline on a hot day in an MG with the top down, something to look forward to.

Another warm day here 23/24C and sunny. A couple of weeks ago, a neighbour kindly donated his flowers to us and we put in over 100 white lilies from his front garden. We water the flowers every other day, this and losing myself in the garden and the forest keeps me out of trouble.

I can’t think of anything nicer. Northumberland coastline is hard to beat on a warm sunny day. You especially need to fry the stretch from Druridge Bay up to Holy Island, via Craster Boulmer,Beadnell ,Seahouses and Bamburgh. When we go to the beach we don’t bother with the local ones at Tynemouth and Whitley Bay, we would rather travel the 45 miles north and go to Bamburgh Beach, in the shadow of the castle

Evening everyone, that’s the tents and gazebo put away, the barbecue is soaking in cleaning fluid, time to take the dogs out now it’s cooling down a bit.
