The 5th Owners Club meet
Hi everyone
Its been a long time coming but we can now announce when and where the next 75 & ZT Owners Club meeting will be held. Sorry its been so long but we have been talking to them for over a month and its only just been sorted out in the last few days. The next meet will be on Sunday the 23rd September 2007 at Holker Hall & Gardens Cark-in-Cartmel, Nr Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria LA11 7PL We have booked the main parkland which is right alongside the drive to Holker Hall http://www.holker-hall.co.uk/ The parking has the house as a backdrop for photographs of our cars and will show them off to their best advantage. In the event of very wet weather we have part of the main car park reserved for us with the backdrop being the parkland. As usual there will be lots to do including The Lakeland motor museum with over 20,000 exhibits on display. http://www.holker-hall.co.uk/MotorMuseum.htm Holker Hall itself http://www.holker-hall.co.uk/HolkerHall.htm Holker Hall gardens http://www.holker-hall.co.uk/Gardens.htm Admission prices are fully inclusive and are priced at Adult £7.50 (normal price £11.50) Child £4.50 (6 - 15 years) (normal price £6.50) Children who are five and under go free Dogs are allowed in the grounds but must be kept on a lead at all times, they are not allowed in any of the attractions. Entry to the meet will start at 10am and it will finish at 5pm. We will have our own gazebo where a member of Holker Hall staff will take the entrance fee so the kiosk is not overwhelmed by our numbers. Unfortunately there is not a room big enough for us to hold a group meeting so we are hoping to get a PA system which will make the meet more or less run the same as Beaulieu did. As we will now have a registration process in place at the venue, and will be supplying badges for all to identify each other easily, we will be putting up a registration form here shortly so be sure to fill that in as usual - we will let you know when it is ready to go. In the meantime feel free to list your name as attending on a list under this post. So for a good day out and a chance to meet everyone that you chat away to on the forum why not come along and join us on Sunday the 23rd of September. It will be a good day out for all the family and we promise it will not be snowing this time The Owners Club team  ps club stickers will be available on the day |
