It's worthy of note that while a lot of the time excess strain on this box is due to jamming bonnet latches and cables that just need some freeing up, in the case of my own ZT-T the internals of both latches were so corroded I doubt any amount of grease would save them.

While delivery is now late June as we've had so many orders, you can grab a full set of both latches and all 3 cables for under £40 - the price for all of these separately via other outlets is around £130.

As with anything, the key to keeping these components healthy is maintenance. A bit of oil down each end of the cables every 6 months and a good clean up of the latches works wonders.

Is there a good thread on this job only it looks a bit of a dock yard job replacing the cables and locks for a novice����
