Default challenge

This i quite simple - I took my 2005 75' to the best auto-electrician in Southend and he has pronounced my IPK, gearbox ECU and probably main ECU dead. The car has no instrumentation, it stays in 4th gear and engine fan is on all the time. He has swapped out the IPK and managed to get instruments working.
Someone out there has the capability and parts to fix this, I just need find you. Whilst I value all your opinions about what has gone wrong I am past that and just need contact details/p.m someone who can sort this. I have faith in you

Default addendum

I should add that this is not a soggy ECU issue, my plenum chambers are clean and dry, the IPK he has fitted is only a loan item and will need replacing. I am also ridiculously pleased to have graduated from 'newbie' to 'regular contributor'

Hi Andrew.
I think Mickyboy is the nearest to you with a T4 he also breaks our cars so if did not have an IPK and or the other items I doubt anyone would.

The IPK will have to be virginised and re-instated with T4 anyways, so if you found someone whom had the items you would still need T4.

Drop him a PM, also Bigruss, & Marinabrian they maybe able to help or put you in contact with the perfect person

Default problem solved

So I replaced the IPK and everything apart from the gearbox came back to life. So I replaced the gearbox ecu and now everything works. I assume that disconnecting and reconnecting the A-pillar earths with the battery connected must have spiked the IPK and auto-box ecu somehow. A big thank you for all the suggestions and ideas along the way
