Default Blue tooth

Quick question I hope

You know the blue tooth earpieces that you use to take calls when busy doing something else like driving. Is it also possible to use them like earpieces to listen to stored music or the radio from the phone?

Thanks for any replies

Ken

It depends on the phone/headpiece Ken but it can be done Ken. (Certainly I have one with a Windows based Smart Phone and it can be used that way). I suppose take your phone to a shop to try one or google is your friend??

Best

I have found one but it needs all the MP3s changed to WMAs to work. All the rest won't do it and only takes the feed for calls and ringing tones. Working on it though

Thanks

Generally you want bluetooth headphones that support stereo, and a phone / media player that sends them in that format. A2DP I think it's called.

Depends on the bluetooth profiles supported by the various devices and the media formats supported. In general won't work for radio unless using a wired handsfree as the phones use the wired portable handsfree cable as an antenna

Currently I am using Bluetooth device from zabra company, and I am able to hear songs that are stored in my mobile but I can't hear radio in it. Currently I am using Nokia E75.
