G'day all - we'll have to be quiet during the day if Andy's on nightshift
It's a dull, grey and damp day here - reverted to my Winter breakfast of porridge, laced with squeezy syrup this morning,. Hopefully, it will release some energy - 'cos I can't be bothered to do owt at the moment.

Doesn't look very likely that I'll be going to Wembley in the FA Cup this year - the Boro' drawn away to Manchester City in the next round

Morning Derek - how are things with you and Lilian this morning?

This is our first really 'normal' day since 23rd December
Our daughter stayed with us for a few nights over Christmas - I don't think she wanted to spend her first Christmas in her own home alone.
As she went back home, my widowed sister arrived for her usual week or so stay with us - I've been outnumbered by the ladies for almost a fortnight now

Like Steve, I've booked some Summer holidays - gives me something to look forward to during the rest of the grey Winter days
We're off to Exmoor with the caravan for a couple of weeks in June - you don't think I might get mistaken for the Beast of Exmoor ---- and shot

Just back from a trip to Tesco, picked up a new colour printer, old one has been lying in the rather damp garage since we moved here, that and its a HP, I came to the conclusion that H.P. stands for what you need to buy ink cartridges for the thing. Would cost £50+ to get new cartridges, just bought a Canon wireless printer for £39. Old faithful laser printer acquired in my railway days is still going strong . . . . touch wood!

The replacement official ink cartridges are astronomically priced Steve.
I use compatible inks in my HP printers at work and home and have never had any quality issues or problems with them......saved a few pennies that's for sure

I got rid of my HP printer a long time ago because of ink costs - and at that time it was quite difficult to find compatible cartridges.
I changed to Epson, and have used cartridges from here for about 4 years now - no problems at all, the cartridges are all chipped, so they show up on the ink level monitoring software just like real Epson ones.
