Default 2nd National Meet for 2014

Due to a number of unforeseen circumstances, the 2nd National will not be held in Scotland, this year, but I have made a recommendation to the MOD team, and it is now planned to hold the 2nd National Meet at the Bowes Lyon Museum which is located just off the A66 and about 8 miles west of Scotch Corner in County Durham, on Sunday 28 September 2014

I attended a meet there this year with the Rover P6 club, along with a few other members from this forum

http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...169144&page=10

and it is a fantastic location for us to hold our 2nd National Meet.

http://www.thebowesmuseum.org.uk

The meet is planned to start at around 1000 hrs, and will finishes at around 1600 hrs, and we will be parked outside the front of the house and also be parked in the Gardens below the front of the house, depending on number attending

The cost of entry to the museum is normally £9 each, but the museum will only charge us £7 per person, which will give us full access to all the museum facilities and they can also offer us Tea and Scones at around 1500 hrs in the Blue Gallery Room at at cost of £3.50 per ticket,

we participated in the Tea and Cream scones when we attended with the P6 Club, and it was delicious to say the least

A couple of the MODS and Regional Secretaries, will also be on hand to assist making it an enjoyable day for us all.

So I will post up some more details early next week concerning the attendance, location and payment

I would also suggest that accommodation can be booked at the Premier Inn on the A167 which is around 25 miles from Bowes, and is currently £29 a night

Stuart
