Annoyed - With Myself
Last week I had the front of the car off to do a couple of minor jobs, 'cos, as we have discussed, once you've done it, most things are easier, didn't think about running the car.
This morning, as the tip is now open, I loaded my garden rubbish into the car, put a paste table in as I was dropping that off at someone's on the way, to then pick up some more garden rubbish and spend a while in the queue at the tip....... battery dead - doh! So all rubbish out of the car, as I don't want the creepy-crawlies getting about the car, charger on - head banging against the wall. |

Our local tip is not opening until next week, then it will be odd and even registrations on odd and even days.

Our tip opened this week but I have been working so thought the car could do with a good warm up whilst in the queue. |

I assume that applies to current format plates, as in **03***, **61***, **58*** etc. What happens if your car was registered before September 2001?

Mine is M888***, which I take to be an even number.

Just use the car with the even numbers on even days, on odd days use 54 cos it's both odd and even.
If turned away, simply remind the bloke who works at the tip that you've seen his car boot sale stall Brian |

So, got the car charged up and re-loaded the rubbish, and en-route picked up a load more; chose to go at lunch time as I had a theory that people would be having lunch. Three, yes 3 cars in the queue, and straight into the bay. Back home and tidied up. Then washed the beast this evening.
