I'm not convinced by this, as you stated your IPK being manufactured Week 10 of '05 (March), mines dated Dec/05 - with no digi-instantaneous speed readout. I thought maybe it could be a T4 option, but then you say it has not been programmed-in to the car at all, so maybe not.

From what I've read, the V8's don't have an average MPG readout so instead get a digital speed readout.
