good point .also ibelieve the system has to be bled a few times before it will settle to the correct level and all air has been cleared .

Which is the problem mine has, pour circulation due to cooler being blocked so the coolant is backing up into the expansion tank. Plus have found the course of the problem leaking water pump.

Tony,

To add to Jezzer1's information, another member of this forum very recently found his oil cooler blocked with cooling system additive. If I remember rightly he tried unsuccessfully to clear it so is buying a new cooler.

That would be me , i got some out so i have a little flow but i cannot get any more out, its solid. Pay day thursday so ill get another and report back, only other problem i have is a leaking water pump, which i have thought about and i think the pressure in the system due to lack of flow has burst the seal.
