Default polishing mop

any tips on using a mop for the first time please, phil

Make sure you wring it out in the bucket..........
Sorry couldn't resist.

The only tips I can give are:
Use lots of water, don't let it dry out.
Don't push down too much, let the polisher do the work.
Keep it moving, don't stay in one place too long.
Be careful around edges and swage lines, the paint will be thinner and will wear through quicker

Here's a tip if you have never used a MOP before.
Get a scrap bonnet and practice before you go near any car that you care about.

Get down to machine mart and buy a blue sponge mop head,you can hit the edges with it and won't burn the paint off unlike the white harder compound head.also keep it wet.
