Been wondering about that, would account for a slow start then speeding up, ie once the grease had warmed up but I'm not sure what the timescale for the grease "going off" would be, its not that old. Another thing is the onset of the problem wasn't gradual, it was sudden, used it, fine, next time I used it (couple of weeks later) the slow start surfaced. There's sodall info about servicing in the manual and can't find anything in the way of a service schedule online.

There's weird! Used the mixer to make some Filipino bread rolls for my other half earlier, it started off at normal speed . . . . self repairing
