It is the 11th of a total of 88 Goodwood Green diesel facelift ZT saloons to be built (there were 65 facelift diesel Goodwood Green ZT Tourers built too)The car was the 55th of 73 MG ZTs to come off the line that day.5 saloons were fitted with Green Alcantara, this was the first of those 5, only two were automatics, this being one.

I do note that my 2000 and 2003 V6's do not have the problem, only the later (2005) V8! Maybe something changed in construction or material around facelift time? Older scrapyard "stock" could possibly still be intact?

My Cowley suffers from it too... I think it's more pot luck if the clips contact the aluminium in the strip then bimettalic corrosion occurs when they get damp.

I've just found that the limo seals (ELT000060 and ELT000070) are listed as available from Fiacom in Shanghai via Alibaba at $20 a pop (reductions for bulk).

I don't suppose some enterprising supplier around these parts would like to aquire a batch to flog to us mere mortals...?

Thanks for that. If that was possible then I'm sure many others would be interested too. Mine are dreadful, see pic!

Not as far as i'm aware... i know someone tried getting some from China but they never got back to him.
I have managed to get a limo seal yet to install for one side but would prefer correct ones both side if possible.

That may well have been me. All enthusiastic until I said the order would be 1 to 10 (even though it showed a minimum-order of 1 was acceptable)
Things went very quiet, and my promptings for an answer remained unanswered, now I've suddenly got a load of spam about "Auto hot numbers this week ..." and the like. Should have known better !

Yes we are aware, these are available however the price is nonsense for a part such as this, including delivery you are looking close to 90.00 GBP for a pair.
