Default Replacement Sillls from EBay?

Question regarding the Replacement Sills from Poland available on EBay.....has anyone on here used them? I am in the Czech Republic so options available in the UK are not really realistic so was hoping these would work....2002 Tourer....the welder can patch the ones I got, but thought it would be better to refit new ones.... Thank you

The ones on eBay are galvanised and are not the best to weld.

Speak to Tom, he will be able to send you what you need.

I would second Tom Hobbs sill repair panels, just had a pair fitted to my 75 tourer and they were spot-on.
Hope that helps, Paul.

My wife sends things all over the world for her business with 98% success. It's not nearly as difficult as some people suppose & when something does go wrong it's always sorted with no cost to my wife or the buyer.

The one case that came close to failing was because the buyer in Asia was a charlatan who tried to say the crockery we had sent was the worthless, badly repaired set in the photos she sent us in her complaint. It left a nasty taste in the mouth but was still sorted with no cost to my wife.

Its weird but I got the galvanised ones thinking that galvanised would equal rust protection. It wasn't until the body shop guy told me about the welding issue that I realised it wasn't the best idea. Still, they're on now.
