Your now going to say it's explosive aren't you?

See, making assumptions gets you into trouble.

I have ordered and sent many different types of liquids and powders via courier, so I know what can be carried.

I mean it's not explosive material.

Wrap it in bubble wrap and stick in a box, simple really.

Try this company......https://www.transglobalexpress.co.uk/

Pretty certain they are pyrotechnic devices in our cars.

That's what I thought, certainly by the design of the casing, they looked to be so.

Thanks all. Sounding like a nightmare now. They won't send even if I sorted a suitable courier pick up as they say they are liable should anything go wrong.

This device uses a percussion cap, so I think would be classed as an explosive device.

Explosive, which is why I said short the terminals out in #4 above.

Have handled many explosive cap devices over the years, safe if you know how to treat them. Please don't ask.
