Drained the coolant, removed the complete front end, batt and tray, air filter box, cut out in firewall, and started to remove the inlet manifold, all this and more as the engine swap begins.

Is it easier to leave the box in then Mark, or have you jut put that stuff back out of harms way?

Today I decided that I will sell my 2003 2.0 Tourer CDT which has done 172K and look for a lower mileage, higher spec tourer connie. Don't expect to get much for the Rover but I will be also parting with a 05 Suzuki Grand Vitara.

Definitely not easier to leave the box in.

There's too little room to locate it back easily, if I ever do it again the box will come out but hopefully I won't have to
