Wet window
If I wind down the front offside window (drivers door) and up again it often comes back up covered in water droplets - not after prolonged periods of dry weather but maybe for a day or two after wet weather or a good wash. Two garages have looked at it including the supplier and say they can't fix it.
All three other door windows are fine. What can you suggest Eddie B CDTi Tourer Last edited by sylvester; 29th December 2006 at 21:35.. Reason: Forgot to mention model! |

You could try ensuring the rubber seal is seated into place properly. Also, cleaning the window with good-quality glass cleaner will help to stop a lot of water droplets from sticking to the glass thus preventing them from being drawn into the door when you wind the window down. Hope this helps! |

The window rubber that the bottom of the windows are like a felt material,
Best thing to do is to undo the window and get a credit card or some type and wrap a dry cloth around it and run it along the bottom of the window and rubber and get rid of all the dirt! This will then allow the rubber/felt but to dry out better! |
