Austin guarage
I have been using Austin Garage for many years with excellent service.
I had difficulty contacting them for my service in 2022. Eventually I called in and by chance Nick and Jean were there. It seems Jean had lost her mother and it had affected her badly. Nick was managing to do some work between caring for Jean and she was making progress. He changed my cam belts at the end of June 2022 and I got the impression he was trying hard to keep the business going. Ann Last edited by Ann; 5th January 2023 at 15:12.. Reason: Typo |

Thanks for the update Ann, hopefully Nick will get things to a stage where he can carry on as before.

As I've said else were . Things seem to be restarting but contact for now is only via email , phone lines currently N/A I would think from what's been said they are limiting how much work they take on .
I have my 75 booked in for service and MOT ... I know to well about problems due to the death of jeans mum and as our MG F was held at Austin garages for about 4 months till we recovered the car without a mot ..... I know others had longer delays but it is time to put aside our past difficulties and give Austin garages another go .... |
