Default MG Rover Repair Centre, Wickford

My motoring expenses over the past year or so have been very high what with my four-pot P6 project & my Morris Oxford Traveller being recommissioned (which l now have back home). To that end the clutchless 75 has been languishing outside the house while l've been using the wife's Fiesta for day to day use. MoT & tax status now dictate l do something about it & l think my nearest forum-recommended 75 workshop would be Kevin at Wickford. So is he still in business & has anyone used him recently? Thanks.

Not sure about the garage at Wickford but I’ve used Steve Tyler of British Legends Rochford (at the rear of Southend Airport) for the last 12 years for my R75, 260 and MGF servicing and repair

As far as I’m aware Kevin is still in business, although I haven’t used him for a while.
P.M. me if you need his phone number.

I know Steve Tyler is certainly operational, and know of several who recommend him. I saw Steve a couple of weeks ago.

Kevin's still working and I would recommend him. Old school, but in the best way. Just spoke with him as I need some work doing. He only does 3 days a week now Monday to Wednesdays. Give him a bell on Monday on (ignore the out of date opening times ) :

Of course if you need help sooner the guys at Sarfend are great as well.

That's good to hear, I haven't been in touch with him for around 6 months or so as thankfully all our cars have been behaving themselves. He's been looking after all of our MG's and Rovers for around 8 years now, highly recommended.

Hope you've been keeping well Andrew, you still running your ZT?

I am good Rick. Hope you and Deanna are fine as well. The ZT is still here running well, with a few niggles. Had a lovely mini break in Wiltshire and it drove beautifully. I am looking at selling as I fancy a change. My brother may be the new owner.

I'll give you a bell some time and we can catch up.

Sorry to the OP for rabbiting on in their thread.

Ok, thanks all. I've sent a message to Steve for a quote but would rather go to Kevin simply as he's closer & l think closer to a station if l had to leave the car.
I'll give him a call.

Good to hear, we're well thank you.
