Unhappy False widow spider!

http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/UK-...00905315284638

Now the problem i have is that we now have one living in the house!
I hate spiders and normally run at the first sight of one but this ones realy quite nasty! I won't dare go near him but my dad went for a closer look today and the ****** run at him and started to lift his front legs up!

So the question is how do we get rid of him? normally with house spiders i get my dad to pick it up and pop him out the window but my dad won't go near him now after todays events. I know it realy is'nt right killing things but should we make an exception with this one? I was thinking of an insect killer just to stop him from running around the house at night.

Kill it ASAP! If it doesn't bite you, it may well bite someones children if released into the wild. And of course it may also find a mate and start to breed.

Thanks for the advice, i think your right james there's no point in just leaving him there. I don't want to risk anyone getting bitten by him/her.

We will have to catch it tomorrow or try to, it realy does go like stink. I've never seen anything move so fast!

If in doubt... do without!!

My sister can spot a spider at 100 yds, and would be eligible for the Olympics!!!

Personally I love spiders, they kill flies. I hate flies!!

Looks like a normal spider - I call the biggest George and the 2nd largest Mildred

Fred is OK ... But Boris ? ............... Is this political??? ++

I'm closer to the truth than you... FEMALE spiders are larger than the males... You could be in trouble!!!

Poor thing, Pick it up and release it outside.
It is after all only a house spider.
Colours etc are wrong for one in report.

One or more decent sized hunting spiders in the house = no smaller spiders, flies or other insects. If you can stand it.
