Hi g-mac, no i don't deal with them, im just a jag nut!
£1500 seems rather expensive for a xj40, the one i just bought cost me £750 and is a rust free example from hong kong. Have you got any info on the car your thinking of getting?

Hi Rob. That is a lovely car. But -- As an ex Jag fanatic I have to disagree about the choice of a Jag over the 75. I loved my Jags but fuel costs considerably reduced the fun of owning one..

With my 75 CDT I can afford to go wherever I like and the freedom is one of the things I love about owning a "75"..

I still admire the old Jag-Daimlers, but, like all the big fuel guzzlers, they wont be around for much longer.. Whereas I think the best of the 75 CDT's will be around for many many years to come.
