Dodgy ZT-T on ebay
In case anyones lured in by this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MG-ZT-T-TOURER...c0.m%2014]carscheap price, don't be.
Got a HPI check a few weeks back, it's a 7 owner car, it was cat c in 2006, and 37k miles through up a mileage discrepancy(but 137k didn't). He says in the ebay ad "ITS WORTH POINTING OUT IT MAY HAVE BEEN DUE TO ACCIDENT DAMAGE AND I OMIT ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF THIS IS THE CASE.", but if you check his gumtree ad here, you'll see him talking about it being cat c. Dodgy. Last edited by JohnDotCom; 6th September 2009 at 21:03.. Reason: Link fixed |

Have brought lots of things off e bay but I do not think that I would ever buy a car from it, due to this reason
E bay would be a quick way of getting rid of a car that has problems, bad history etc Not saying that all cars on e bay are dodgy

what seems strange to me is that he's had the car valued at " we buy any car" for £2400 and then he sticks it on ebay for a buy it now price of £2195! Why not just flog it to them and make an extra £205.

I dont think its a bad car for £2K myself. I have seen worse.
Its got plenty of kit on it and if people on hear are to beleaved that milage is nothing on the BMW diesel. However service history to me is important even if its owner done and that fact he has spent alot of money on it before selling it rings more alarm bells with me then anything else mentioned in the listing. |
