Used to work in the veneer shop at browns lane. We did all the wood for all the jags. They would come to me to be flatted, polished and finished off. Some of it was akin to french polishing.Also colouring was involved to try to make it match up with your door cappings etc. If you look very carefully you might see some blemishes but its ok. We was working with real wood and we had to make the best match we could. I thought we did a pretty good job. Hope you think so too.
