With practice I got good results out of a £100 clarke machine. Gas version though.
There are usually a few around on the bay of fleas to have a practice with. DON'T go near the car until you've done loads of practice on tinfoil. Your panels will be thin! |

It doesn't pink anymore happily (Touch wood.) It was a worn out distributor.
