Question Flash Warning

Ever since I've had the car I've noticed that whenever I am not looking directly at the IPK there momentarily appears a flash of a warning light on the left hand side of the centre module (amber - I think). It appears so fast that by the time I flick my eyes down to look at it.... it's gone.

Only does it whilst in motion. Bear in mind I've had a new IPK and ECU (amongst other things). Never appears whilst stationary, revving the engine or not.

Has anyone else noticed this phenomeonon on their cars? That little flicker out of the corner of the eye (so to speak)...........

It's really bugging me

Or is it simply the car doing a self-test as I'm travelling along?

Or is it an indication that something else is about to go wrong? (He asks pessimistically)

Well at least amber warning lights aren't generally serious, the only lamp I can say for sure is on the left is the brake warning but that's red but there is another one, 2 minutes I'll go & try my car

Sometimes on start up I get a large brake warning indicator, but that tends to go after a few seconds. Was another thread on this, and it was deemed to be the car doing its self-diagnostic bit. Brakes, calipers and discs have all been checked, and they certainly work well including ABS

As I said this particular light is so fleeting I can't even get an image of the symbol.....

Is there a way of lighting up the error lights on the IPK?
