Fifth Gear Axed
The Channel five Motoring program Fifth Gear has been axed.
This is due to not being able to compete with Top Gear, and advertisers avoiding due to poor viewing figures. the Audience figures with the current presenters has consistently dropped now to 600,000 from there best of series of 1 Million, Top Gear has over 8 million + viewers average. Quote:

Shame as at least they tried to make it about the cars. TG is fun to watch, but its not a car programme.
