Default treatment for new alloy wheels

I have just bought some new alloys and wondered what folks might suggest for an initial protective treament while they are still nice and new. Seems like a good one-time opportunity while they are new and off the car and still without tyres. I've heard suggested just to use AutoGlym super resin polish (as for normal bodywork) and I've got some if this. But what else might be good/better? Thanks.

Autoglym do an Alloy Wheel Sealer which I have used for a number of years. just spray on and wipe off. The resin polish might do the same job, but at £5.99 for a large can that will do 30 wheels I prefer to use the specific formula.

A ceramic sealant would be best, it will be quite expensive but definitely worth while as it lasts about a year per application

After a recent wheel refurb was told to use numerous sealant, some of which are expensive, but ended up using 'poorboys wheel sealant/polish.'
