Good customer service from O2
A couple of months ago i bought the Sony phone here. all was good with it until it just stopped responding on the touch screen.
Took it into 02 for their guru to take a look, he couldn't sort it even after a re flash, so i thought that was it Any way after pm-ing the the original owner who then told me it was bought from 02 , hmmm and he offered to email the receipt, so today i went to collect the phone (as i left it with them) and i mentioned how i bought it in the first place and that it was just 5 months old, he looked up the ime number up, confirmed it was what i said it was and took it in for repair under warranty. whats more is, that he didnt even need the reciept. I have to say, i am under the impression that a warranty was not transferable legally, that i didn't have a right to repair, yes i could have sent it to the seller to send back, but thats a faff, any way, i am impressed with the customer service i received from them, i am happy as i get my phone back |
