Default alternator slip rings ok ? and bushes removsl

ok after much real life intrusions got the regulator of so before I go shed with trying to change the bushes do these slip rings look ok I see any plastic showing through

and secondly to change the bushes is it just a matter of soldering off the old wires and soldering on new??
