I suggest you refer him to your original post where you as OP were asking the question, not professing to be expert----

Think you may have got under his skin with your posts generaly where your advice is usualy sound----

Must admit that from my own experience, if cabin heat is non existant on passengers side then it is not likely to be a control flap problem, as Terry points out, confirming post 5----
Probably was though in days gone by with mechanical flap control----

As for dying brain cells, they say hundreds die every day----lol
