2 different garages, don't know who owned it.

Thin it may have been a taxi at some point, found 2 holes drilled in the rear number plate and no smoking signs on rear side windows.

Wish I hadn't looked now, not got any problems with the car and I am really happy with the condition its in. Also happy with what I paid. So should I look into it or just ignore it

Oh, see what you mean - if you have just bought this, questions need to be asked.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Bought it in Feb from a trader who deals in trade ins. No warranty and sold as seen.

I would report it to the DVLA for starters........if they care. They should, it's an offence. Phone them and ask for their advice.

That sounds like a good idea. Wonder if the MOT test stations should be notifying DVLA of discrepancies when they carry out the tests?

Whether he gives a warranty or not, something illegal may have taken place & he needs contacting. This just goes to prove you shouldn't part with any money until you have thoroughly checked the vehicle's history.
