Cool

Good morning everyone. And we have rain.

I had planned to take a trip out to Bude today. Looks like a trip to the tip instead.

Just dull and grey here. Dry - for now .

Our grass needs cutting too but that looks like it'll be the weekend.

We've got a touch of sun this morning - things are looking up.
Us and a couple of our neighbours held a surprise 75th birthday party yesterday for the old lady who lives next door. Her family are scattered all over - one in Manchester, one on the Yorkshire Wolds and the other in Italy - without our intervention she'd have had a pretty lonely birthday. We managed a few sarnies and a cake and ate on her drive, all sensibly distanced needless to say

You'll be the one needing the wellies if Jeff stays in your area much longer

At least it'll hide your tears after last night's result

Managed to cut mine yesterday - both the grass and the mower's power cable
At least I now know that my circuit breakers trip pretty quickly

Cool

Evening Ian and all fellow followers.

Had a drive to Truro this morning in glorious sunshine. Return trip was in glorious rain. Still warm though. Bought myself some New dinner/side plates plus some dessert bowls. Nice “Poppy” pattern.

Gammon rasher, new pots and sprouts for dinner. Fresh fruit for dessert.
Now chilling with a cool Henry Weston.
