That's cool Steve,I was reading Scotrail has a fair few Class 43's HST sets up there that have been renovated & put into service in Scotrail colours.

I've been bombarding TSW3 to get a Class 91 electric locomotive in LNER colours & any stretch of the ECML.

They reckon there's all sorts of licencing problems to overcome

Well, its sort of Scotrail livery made up thing only the HST sets wear. Personally I don't really see the point of them, two power cars and only four coaches

Good morning Steve, that’s what I like and enjoy, the jokes are clean, you’re a gent!

Haircut:

I go to Diamond Plaza in Nairobi known as Little India for my haircut, where I get a No 3 and it costs 700 Kenya shillings which includes an Indian head massage. No other extras are on offer.

The head massage is an educational experience and this involves slapping the top of the head several times and rubbing in some lineament to make the head feel fresh and cool. Apparently it’s traditional.

A 300 shilling tip rounds off the haircut to 1000 Ksh or £6.55. I forego the head massage as I find it’s not very pleasant having the head slapped.

I also refuse the lineament as it is perfumed and the smell of it seems to attract the mosquitoes and flies. Apart from that, the barber is cheerful and pleased to see me.

I imagine when your out and about driving the RR and the caravan to the pitch at the site, you must feel like you are “King of the Road”, what a fabulous feeling and something to look forward to

Roll on summer

Good morning all,

It’s my usual routine. Make the tea for Jessica, clean the pool, have breakfast then it’s a walk in the forest and then say hello to the cows and donkeys.

Who talks to the animals or to their pets?

A pet know by the intonation or the vibration of a touch, if it’s receiving kindness. It also knows when the sound of the voice is harsh and aggressive. Let’s remember they have feelings like all of us.

We have a few bee hives and I have learned not to get stung by staying calm in their presence.

What is everyone up to?

Morning Phil, morning all.

Work for me this morning. Thankfully the weather looks favourable

The funeral went as well as those thing can yesterday. It was a fitting tribute to a lovely man.

Cool

Morning everyone. The sun is out.

Doctors appointment this morning, going to love the excuse for giving me the wrong tablets. And they want more blood.
