Any there any galvanisers amongst us ?

Would it possible to galavanise the arms with the rubber bush fitted, as this should drastically extend the lifespan of the arms ?

You'd need to strip them back well first, as they're very well coated - I dropped one of the ones I've kept, and it didn't even scratch!
