1.8 k series engine petrol non turbo for rover 75 04reg
I am looking for a replacement engine for the beast as mine has started running on 3 cylinders.. I purchased one engine but was wrong one from an mg it has a coil etc fitted. ( Doh ) so have that available if anyone interested. Am in West Yorkshire.

Running on 3 cylinders doesn't necessarily mean the engine needs replacing. What made you want to do it?

It's an early engine.
Definitely not a TF engine. Only early "K"'s had the dissy cap on the end of the cam. It's not the later "wasted spark" engine which has two ignition coils under the plastic top cover. This might even have the early manual timing belt tensioner on it. Richard
