Default A Real MG

My friend Paul has this in his workshop just now, it's the car that was on car SOS a few years ago. The owner died soon after the show and it's been sat in a garage since then, it's about to have new door hinges fitted and then it will be out on the show scene, I'll very likely be able to bring it to some meets when I'm able as he's not planning to sell it just now. I think he said it's a 1938 model but I could be wrong, it's just lovely to see at this miserable and cold time.

You are quite correct, it is a 1938 MG TA.

It is great to still see this lovely old cars still about.
Because of it's wooden frame rotting, many were scrapped after the MOT was introduced circa 1960.

Worthless then, but now worth a small fortune.
