Default Looking for a good car.

I went yesterday to look at a Rover 75 diesel with 146,000 miles on it. I was so very pleasantly surprised by the condition and the driving of it.
It's a 2004 with cloth interior, air con, sunroof, heated seats and a tow bar fitted. Only one electric plug for the trailer so it can't have been towing much more than a small trailer.

It has a full service history with a new clutch being fitted at 100,000 miles and other than slight wear to the drivers seat bolster and the drivers electric window being a bit temperamental to go back up it is an excellent car. Even the boot is dry and the car is not garaged as there is a jag in his garage.

It just showed me that having been owned by an enthusiast and given regular servicing a high mileage car can be a very good buy.

However my heart is set on finding a tourer diesel with all the toys with low mileage and a full service history. So my search continues.
