Default Symphony hi line conversion

Hello, I have a Symphony hi - line head unit which I have removed and purchased a sony unit GT90BT, I have notice the rear fittings are totally different and wondered if anyone knew which Interconnect and where I can look to get one.
I have looked online but the pictures beside it look nothing like the connectors in the car (which are two small connectors white and blue)
I don't really want to cut wires or order the wrong lead, If anyone has the answer It would help greatly

Thank you for your time Robb

The two connectors you refer to are not audio connectors, they are only for the Hi Line display unit.

At the back of the centre console, behind the ashtray unit is a connector where the audio loom is connected to the car loom, in early cars it is a 17 pin BMW connector, later cars 2x8 pin ISO connectors.
You will also need to extend the aerial lead from the back of the car to the front.

Sorry, I can't help with your question but I'm in the process of changing a Harmony to a GT90BT and I'd be very interested to see how your microphone for the hands-free works out. You can see my fun & games installing the microphone here and that the pick-up isn't very good.

(I'll also be detailing my fitting at the end of this thread)

As yours is a 2004 75 you will have the ISO connectors.

As Ray says the ISO plug / socket will be found down behind the ashtray unit.

You will only need to purchase a aerial extention cable to run from the boot radio unit to the back of your new headunit.

Your steering wheel controls will not work unless you buy a interface unit.

This is the ISO connector for you new head unit, it will be located somewhere behind the center consol near the ashtray.
Use the grey and the brown plugs.
