Morning Phil.

I used to watch it before it started down the inclusive route.
I'm all for equality but it seems to me that mainstream media are peddling it for all their worth at the expense of all else.
Ros still watches it though

A few years back Ros and I went to the O2 Arena to watch it live. It was a very entertaining experience

Get some Voltarol and rub it in.

One of the water butt stands on one of the greenhouses was giving way & the barrel was at a jaunty angle So I attached a length of hosepipe to it & emptied it out in the service road. Some knocked up old decking planks & it's back in fettle. Might as well as clean the glass in the inaccessible places whilst it's out & wash it with a soap & bleach mixture to get rid of the algae. I think my t-shirt & joggers will look like a tie-dye outfit with the bleach I spilled on me Cream crackered nah. I made a chicken casserole in the slow cooker earlier today & it smells bootiful if I say so meself.

Roast pork was our Sunday dinner today.
I removed the skin/crackling from the pork. Seared all sides in a little olive oil in the pan then cooked it for eight hours on a low heat in the slow cooker.
It was sat on a bed of quartered apples and onions.
500ml of chicken stock and a (large) glass of white wine was added. This was used at the end to make delicious gravy.
After eight hours the pork was transferred to the oven to finish off for half an hour along with the skin to make crackling

I made the Yorkshire Pud's with Spelt Wholemeal flour and they came out great.
So that's the new healthier version on the menu from now on

Cool

Morning everyone.

A lovely sunny but a tad chilly start to the day.

Fabulous day yesterday with the CMGOC. 25 MG’s lined up outside the restaurant for our breakfast, 4 non MG’s were also with our group. We then convoyed to the Cornish Aviation Museum next door to Newquay airport, and next door there is the RAF base at St.Mawgan.
We was allowed to line up in front of the Shackleton, which sadly was minus its wings, and a Supermarine Spitfire.

I bid on some full spectrum grow lights last week off the bay & won them for a fraction of their worth I'm going to get a head start on next years growing season for heat loving plants with my heat mats & heated propagator.

Erm... YES

Can't wait to read about your experience of helicopters overhead, the doors being smashed in and an armed response unit charging in
