Question Antilock brakes - rear sensors

Does anyone know what's inside the tip of these sensors?

They were jammed solid in the trailing arm/hub and I had to drift them out with the metal handle off a box spanner, which has dented the tips. If they need replacing, now is the time to do it before the subframe goes back in because it blocks access to the grommet that goes through the floorpan.

RH sensor (next two pics) is the most dented.

Following two pics are the LH sensor.

I can't see any way of testing these things without having any hubs on the car.
