Morning all, The calm after the storm, It's still drizzling & breezy this morning, Stacks of plant pots & bamboo canes went flying & one greenhouse pane of glass was blown out. I'll be drying out the garage again today.

Morning Ian and all,
Hope the worst of the weather has gone for everyone .
Hope the damage isn’t too bad Ian .

Today the weather forecast is for gusty winds with a mix of sunshine and showers.
A bit better than yesterday’s ‘orrid wild and windy effort!

Roast beef for lunch/dinner today.
Let’s see how the beef does in the Air Fryer .

I remember dad throwing a lorry tarpaulin over our garage roof when the asbestos sheets cracked. It was like that for months until the warmer weather came and we could put some new sheets on. Dry as a bone but mum kept tripping over the tie downs whilst putting the washing out! "If it's dry enough for me to put the washing out, it's dry enough for you to get up that ladder and fix the garage roof" she would say!

Lovely sunny start today in the "Far East"!

LOL That's exactly what I did to get a bit more time out of the old cracked asbestos sheets on the old garage we had, I "borrowed" a haulage sheet from work .
I kept getting told by the kamp kommandant that it's a bleddy eyesore with 'Inter-City Transport' blazoned across it .

That roast beef dinner looks good Jeff. We're having Mashed taters, Cabbage, Brussels sprouts, carrots/swede & gravy with them.
Film for this evening is The T1tfield Thunderbolt.
