Default Blond admirer

Having bought a one owner, 45k Connie last month, I took it for a long run today. Averaged 51 mpg!

Paying for fuel I was approached by a blond who wanted to know about the car. It turned out she was interested in buying one, having heard such good reports of them. Last week I found a Connie SE with just 450 mile on the clock for a friend ( should have bought it myself!)

What is it about these cars that has us hooked?

I don't know but it's certainly got a strong pull I've always found them attractive since the day they were launched mind you I like my classics so all the chrome & leather & slightly retro appearance has a lot to do with it in my case

I thought of making a quip about the blond admiring me but the redhead wouldn't like it. Neither would the wife. Seriously, only joking.

Spotted the 450 miler minutes after it was put on the web. Turns out the owner has a small business with white van and two dogs. Goes evrywhere in the white van
