Question What's this bird of prey...

Where we live we are well aware of kestrels and buzzards - on a warm day we can have several of the latter cruising on the thermals. Anyroad over the past few months there's a new one on the block - size between the two above but more towards buzzard size, hovers well but not as stationary as the kestrel with more of an arched back and a distinctive fan tail and the wings look quite curved in flight. Any ideas?

I recently read that only 70% of the England is urbanised.. Seems frogs and hawks are far more important than young people when it comes to getting a home to live in............

Like Nightmare on Elm Street in our garden for all of the other birds, front and back nowhere is safe. Went out earlier this year to find the front lawn covered in dove feathers and my freshly washed and polished car streaked in blood where the hawk had flown with its booty in its mitts.
