War of the Worlds.. shivers down your spine....
Hi Folks I would like to know if anyone can recomend some decent music....the kind of which makes the hairs on your kneck stand up, sends shivers down your spine ...or brings tears to your eyes...
I was listening to War of the Worlds on the M5 northbound yesterday, with Richard Burton...and the track 'Thunderchild' came on....my god...shivers ran up and down my spine and I could picture the whole scene....just brilliant! Another one I can recomend is a little known band from the 80s...called Thunder...on their first Album was a track called... 'the last thing she said..was goodbye' mind blowing track. Any others?

There's quite a few tracks by a Finnish band called Sonata Arctica that do this for me!
(sits back to see if anyone has heard of them..........) Also, and Gill finds this hilarious, "Amazing Grace" as performed by the Scots Dragoon Guards - the bit where they all join in after the lone piper has done his bit..... (oh, and the theme from "Braveheart") |

I'm a big Jools Holland fan - seen him about 7 times live! (Do a Google on "Jooligans" if you fancy joining a select band of folks who started off talking about Jools - and Sam Brown - but now talk about anything and everything!)
